The
acrylic fabric is the most common
and is used for all types of awnings. It
is a medium-thickness fabric (300 to 360 g/m²)
which offers good solar protection, good
weather-resistance and excellent colourfastness
due to through-colour synthetic fibres.
Its
all-weather version offers better
waterproofness. |

Available in plain
colours only and in 3
microperforations
(AIR, 86 and 92).
It is used for terrace and conservatory
awnings.
The
Soltis® fabric is a technical
fabric ventilated by microperforations. Consisting
of a weave of polyester yarns, it has a great tear
strength and offers excellent resistance to
bad weather conditions. Its main assets are an outstanding
solar protection and an increased air
circulation under the awning.
The Soltis®
AIR fabric is recommended for balcony
awnings, when the atmosphere may be suffocating
under a small-size canvass. Its citronella scent
repels mosquitoes.
The
Soltis® 86 and 92 fabrics are
more specifically used for conservatory awnings. |

Wide
choice of plain and pseudo-plain
patterns (weave of 2 or 3 different-colour
yarns ) available.
The
Screen fabric is exclusively used
to shade windows (vertical guided blinds
and projection awnings).
It is composed of individually PVC-coated glass
yarns, reinforced by a heat-treatment after weaving.
Its very tough and regular structure allows
a clear view of shapes and colours outside
while filtering efficiently the entering light.
Its loose weaving also favours the air
circulation and facilitates the ventilation
of the solar energy absorbed between canvas
and window pane.
